Evening update

Things are running very smoothly. The folks come in to the UN office here at SDQ for transport and services and then darn it a few hours later they are gone. Material is moving as well.

Things are doing fine so tomorrow morning I along with Josiah and Jordan my friends two young former Marines who are volunteers who just showed up. They have been working hard in the center here and the three of us will be continuing together for the duration of our working in Haiti.

It will be interesting to see what challenges we face. I am not concerned about the travel since for the last 40 plus hours I have been working getting people and goods in country.

Next post will probably be from Port-au-Prince.

I have been keenly following everything you post. I am very proud of you for what you are doing (and of Andree - God bless her). I have no experience with first-hand disaster response but I have voluminous experience with first-hand Rick Davis response. Just keep going with your brain and instinct, Bro. Think about what to do and then do what you think you should do. I would trust you with my life - and have, many times - and think all persons in those latitudes are lucky you are there. Don't let the beaurocrats get you down, and keep cutting that tape. Better to ask for forgiveness than... you know the rest.
